Kentucky State Police say a woman is now behind bars, arrested at school while trying to enroll her children. The mother, 40-year-old Bridget Graves, was wanted in Superior, Wisconsin for a rash of burglaries in the area.
Graves has apparently come to Harrodsburg, Kentucky after talking to someone online about how great of a town it was. Police say she brought her 16-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter, along with two 18-year-olds, who were also wanted for the burglary spree. Police were called by Wisconsin authorities, and asked to take her into custody, after she showed up at the Mercer County 9th Grade Academy to enroll her son, and the school contacted Wisconsin's school system for his records.
State Police arrested Graves, her son, 18-year-old Sylee Oneill and 18-year-old Blaine Warnke on fugitive warrants. Wisconsin authorities say all four were responsible for a rash of burglaries that included homes and businesses in the Superior, Wisconsin area, where they lived.
All three adults are now in the Boyle County Detention Center. The 10-year-old boy has been turned over to the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
