A tour boat broke free from its dock Wednesday morning, then floated several miles down the Kentucky River before being secured again.
The Dixie Belle, which belongs to Shaker Village in Mercer County, started floating down the river around 8:30 a.m.
Shaker Village officials say the captain was doing a routine check of the boat, when he saw a large piece of a concrete dock floating in the river.
The captain says the concrete hit the boat, knocking it loose.
The boat then floated several miles downstream, even going over a dam at one point.
It stopped after getting caught in some low hanging trees a half mile from the Brooklyn Bridge in Jessamine County.
Emergency crews were then able to secure the boat.
Shaker Village officials say the boat has been inspected, and there appears to be very little damage to it.
They're not yet sure how they're going to get the boat back to Shaker Village.
