A man is facing new charges after police say he led them on a three county chase with a child in the car.
It all started in Danville when the man wouldn't stop for police.
The chase ended when the suspect crashed his car in anderson county near the Bluegrass Parkway.
Police orginally thought the child had been kidnapped but 27 Newsfirst has learned that charge has been dropped.
The child's mother was waiting at the Speedway when the child's father called saying he was being chased by police.
Danville police first got a call saying a red SUV was driving out of control on Lexington Avenue heading toward Danville.
When they tried to pull over the vehicle for suspect DUI the driver 29-year-old Justin Faulvey took off.
He accelerated away from the officer and made it clear he was not going to stop.
Police then chased Faulvey through Mercer and Anderson County when he crashed.
During the chase he called the mother to say that he wasn't going to make it to the gas station as planned.
The subject driving the car says he wasn't making the scheduled drop off.
Once Faulvey crashed under the influence and the 4-year-old girl was injured.
