Police say alcohol played a role in a violent early Monday morning crash that trapped a driver inside his pickup truck.
Rescue crews had to cut the driver out of the truck on Highway 1160 in Mercer County.
The truck landed on its top after going down an embankment and taking out part of a fence.
Workers had to use a backhoe to remove the pickup because the embankment is so steep.
The driver went to the hospital with leg and head injuries.
He is expected to be okay.
