An elderly central Kentucky man who was missing for several hours, has been found safe.

The family of 93-year old James Benny Yeast called police Thursday night after he didn't return home. He had left their Harrodsburg home around 4:30 that day, heading to Lexington. His family says he was going to a barbershop in the Eastland Shopping Center to get a haircut.

When Yeast hadn't returned home by eight Thursday night, his family begin to worry. They tried to contact him and couldn't. They also contacted some relatives in Lexington, but they had not seen Yeast either. That's when the family called police.

Officers in both Lexington and Harrodsburg were searching for Yeast. It was around six Friday morning when a Lexington police officer spotted his car.

Yeast was in good condition when found. He has since been reunited with his family.
