LEXINGTON, KY September 4, 2012. On September 17, 2012 in conjunction with, Andover Golf & Country Club, Kentucky Accounts Service, LLC, Missing Link Managed Services, LLC, and S &S Tire of Lexington, the fifth Annual Golf Classic, “Take a Swing at Diabetes” benefiting the American Diabetes Association will be held at Andover Golf and Country Club.
The American Diabetes Association (ADA) is the nation’s leading non-profit health organization providing diabetes research, information, advocacy and youth programs. The ADA is focused on finding a cure for diabetes and dedicated to the care of those with diabetes. The American Diabetes Association is the single largest provider of information on diabetes. Through education we can ensure people with diabetes live a long and fruitful life. In addition, the ADA is committed through the wide array of local programs including a support group, camp for children with diabetes and other outreach efforts.
The agenda for the golf scramble includes 11:30AM registration followed by a shotgun start at 12:30PM. There will be a boxed lunch, a banquet and presentation of awards afterwards. There will be guest speakers from the ADA, business owners, other community leaders, and folks just like you there!
The golf scramble is open to individuals and foursomes. Cost is $125 per individual ($75 if member of Andover) and $500 per foursome. Volunteers are needed for this event as well. The deadline for registration is September 10, 2012. There are also a limited number of sponsorship opportunities available – you must contact Mike Runyon, 859.285.0514 to secure yours.
We welcome and look forward to all who will participate in our Annual Golf Classic benefiting the American Diabetes Association at Andover Golf and Country Club, September 17, 2012, 11:30AM. The proceeds from this event will directly benefit the ADA’s mission of finding a cure, caring for those with the disease, and its commitment to relevant programs, support groups, camp for children and other educational/outreach initiatives.
