Surveillance video shows two young men walking around the Cane Run Marina on Herrington Lake in Mercer County early Sunday morning.
"They started going from boat to boat, looking at what was there," said marina manager Tierra Freeman.
The two thieves spent more than three hours stealing from numerous boats, often looking right into the surveillance cameras, capturing their every move.
"They're either really brave or not very smart," said Freeman.
Fishing poles, radios, tackle boxes..and various odds and ends were taken.
"They took the rods and reels that would bring the most money, the recycling cans they took, they were already ready to go to the recycling center," said Freeman.
At least three customers lost about $4,000 in gear, but not every boat has been checked.
Nearly every action they took was captured, including one of them apparently choosing to urinate in the lake amidst the crime spree. Then it was back to taking whatever they could.
"I don't see where they broke any locks, they just went through the storage bins that were unlocked. Most of the material is out in plain sight," said Freeman.
Freeman has put up pictures of the two all over the area, and she's contacted the Mercer County Sheriff's Department for help solving the case.
