PAINTSVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - The trial of a Johnson County family accused of using their wrecker service as a chop shop began Monday
Marty and Madeline Welch and their 22-year-old son Ian Welch face dozens of charges including theft, trafficking stolen vehicles, and fraud.
In January, police say they found some allegedly stolen cars on the family's property in Hager Hill.
They were indicted by a grand jury earlier this year and pleaded not guilty.
