PAINTSVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - Sheriff's deputies in Johnson County say they were looking for a parole violator and instead found more than one dozen marijuana plants.
Officers say Charles Hart admitted he was growing the marijuana in his home in Rockhouse because he is sick and uses it for medication.
They say they seized 15 plants.
When fully grown those plants are worth nearly $2,000 each.
Hart now faces felony charges for cultivating marijuana.
