PAINTSVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - Some students at Johnson Central High School have gotten into the Halloween spirit.

Members of the FFA have built a five acre haunted corn maze next to the school.

They have been working on it since the summer and say it has been a great learning experience for the kids.

They grew all the corn themselves and designed the maze from the ground up.

This is the first year the students have built a corn maze.

"We decided to do it in learning, for students to learn how to do certain skills, so they can learn hands on and plus learn stuff in the classroom, and CTE programs, and agricultural programs," said FFA Alumni Member Joseph Dempsey.

The maze is open every Friday and Saturday until November 3 unless it is raining.
