Marijuana plants found in Johnson County home

SITKA, Ky. (WYMT) - A man is behind bars in Johnson County following the discovery of several marijuana plants, some as high as three feet tall.

Sheriff's deputies say they found seven marijuana plants growing near 40 year old Eric Osborne's home on Tick Vanhoose Branch in Sitka.

Osborne was arrested and charged with probation violation and cultivating marijuana over five plants.

He is being held at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.
