UPDATE 5/17/13

PAINTSVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - Prosecutors presented a motion to revoke a plea agreement in a Johnson County double murder case Friday.

Amanda Fannin struck an agreement with prosecutors in February leading investigators to the bodies of Larry and Sandara Blanton.

The agreement said Fannin could not be charged in the Blantons' case unless officials found proof she was involved.

Now they say four people came forward claiming Fannin told them she was involved.

Another hearing for the motion will be June 26.

UPDATE 5/8/13

JOHNSON COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT/WKYT) - From missing persons to double murder.

Amanda Fannin, the girlfriend of murdered Johnson County couple Larry and Sandara Blanton's son, led police to their bodies and cut a plea deal.

Now prosecutors say she was involved too, and they want the agreement thrown out.

She defended her boyfriend Willie Blanton from day one.

"I damn sure don't want to think my boyfriend's a murderer," she told Mountain News in September, not long after the couple went missing.

As police continued to search the Oil Springs farm in October for the bodies she told Mountain News, "They're not here. No they're not here. Will would never hurt his parents."

But within a few months her story changed.

She struck a deal with prosecutors, giving them information that Willie Blanton killed his parents and leading them to the bodies, all in exchange for immunity from the case and taking the death penalty off the table for Willie.

Fannin's plea agreement stated she could not face charges in the case unless there was proof she was involved in the Blantons' deaths, and now prosecutors filed a motion saying they have reason to believe she was.

The motion states that four people came forward claiming Fannin told them she helped hide the bodies, cleaned up the murder scene, and was there for at least the murder of Sandara Blanton.

"We forwarded these interviews to the commonwealth attorney which led to this motion to set aside this plea agreement for Miss Fannin. We're totally behind the commonwealth on this," said Johnson County Sheriff Dwayne Price.

Revoking Fannin's plea agreement would mean she could face charges in the case, and Willie could face the death penalty.

The motion will be heard by a judge on May 17.

Willie Blanton entered a not guilty plea for the murder charges last month. He is in jail in Boyd County.

Fannin is in the Pike County jail on unrelated charges.

PAINTSVILLE, Ky. (WYMT/WKYT) - Prosecutors have filed a motion to revoke a plea deal in a double murder case.

Amanda Fannin struck an agreement with prosecutors in February.

She agreed to tell everything she knew about the deaths of Johnson County couple Larry and Sandara Blanton.

The couple's son Willie Blanton is being charged with their murders.

Fannin's plea agreement said she could not be charged unless there was proof she was involved in the couple's deaths.

It also meant Willie Blanton could not face the death penalty.

Officials expect a hearing to be scheduled for the motion.
