Investigators say a woman accused of being drunk at an elementary school had an unusual excuse for being there.
The Johnson County Sheriff's Office says they found 31-year-old Angela Butcher passed out in a chair in the gymnasium of Porter Elementary.
The Paintsville Herald reported that the sheriff's office claims Butcher told them she was waiting for the school's Christmas play to begin.
Butcher has been charged with public intoxication.
