Hospice of the Bluegrass Offers Free Grief Camp for Children

Posted: 07/14/2014 - (Lexington, KY)— Camp HOPE will be a one-day retreat for children, ages 6 to 12, who have experienced the death of a loved one within the past two years. Caregivers of the children are also invited to attend. Camp HOPE will be held September 13, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., at the Hospice of the Bluegrass Center for Grief and Education, 2409 Greatstone Point, Lexington, Ky.

Puppies found in dumpster outside of Paintsville business

Updated: 05/07/2014 - A disturbing discovery in a Johnson County dumpster. Thrown away like trash, that is how an employee at Tractor Supply says she found a couple of puppies. The young dogs were rescued just before the dumpster they were found in was scheduled to be emptied.

Johnson County soldier Joshua Gray served overseas for about one month when officials say he died in a non-combat incident in Afghanistan.
