LONDON, Ky. (WYMT) - A convoy of electrical line workers departed from London Wednesday to help folks in the gulf region to lend a hand in the wake of Hurricane Isaac.
The group included workers from Jackson Energy, Clark Energy, Big Sandy RECC, and Licking Valley RECC.
They're on their way to Lousiana to assist Dixie Electric Membership Corporation restore power in storm-ravaged parts of southern Louisiana.
In all, 76 workers are making the journey to help turn the lights back on.
