A man watching his brother's home in Laurel County during the holidays ended up shooting at a man who tried to break-in.
It happened on Joe Hooker Lane near London Saturday night.
Officials at the sheriff's office says the man fired his gun when the would be burglar pointed a gun at him.
The suspect ran off toward the woods, leaving a trail of blood behind.
So far, investigators have not found him.
