LESLIE Co., Ky. (WYMT) - A second man who escaped from work release in Leslie County is now behind bars.
An official with Kentucky River Regional Jail says 27-year-old Adam Warner was brought in late Saturday night.
We are told he was arrested by Kentucky State Police in Knott County.
Knott County Sheriff's have captured one of the inmates that escaped from work release in Leslie County on Tuesday.
22-year-old Taylor Brewer was captured Friday and will be lodged in the Kentucky River Regional Jail.
The search is continuing for two Leslie County inmates who escaped during work release on Tuesday.
Law enforcement officials are asking everyone for their help in order to find 22-year-old Taylor Brewer and 27-year-old Adam Warner.
Liz Morgan is a captain at the detention center.
Morgan said the pair were weed-eating in the Greasy Creek area when they walked away.
Sheriff's Deputy Joshua Collett said Brewer and Warner could be heading to Knott County, where they are from.
Collett said the inmates do not have violent charges, however the community should remain alert
As for Morgan, she said this incident does not make her question the benefits of the work release program.
"You have to trust them to a certain degree because you know they do help in all communities," said Morgan.
