WISE, Va. (WYMT/WJHL) - A Kentucky man faces charges in Wise County relating to armed robberies at two convenience stores in Pound, officials said.
Jonathan Dean Adams, of Eolia, Ky., is charged with two counts of grand larceny and two counts of using a firearm in the commission of a felony, according to a written statement from the Wise County Sheriff's Office.
He is being held in the Letcher County jail, awaiting extradition to Virginia, the statement said.
Two convenience stores in Pound were robbed Sunday night, both located off of U.S. 23 in the county, police said. Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to call Sheriff's Office Sgt. Duane Phillips.
