Two Letcher County churches were broken into early Thursday morning.
Letcher County sheriff's deputies say they received two calls hours apart.
The first was around 5 a.m. when the caller said that someone had broken a window at the Premium Baptist Church.
The second call was about a door which had been torn off its hinges at the Colson Baptist Church.
Officials say the two could be linked.
“We think they have to be connected. We've not had any churches in quite a while that have been bothered, but have had some in the past. These two happened about an hour or two apart,” said Letcher County Sheriff, Danny Webb.
Nothing appeared to be stolen or damaged inside either church except what was broken to get inside.
