Police are investigating whether alcohol or drugs played a role in a crash that sent six people to the hospital.
Lexington Police officers patrolling the area of Harrodsburg Road and Cheryl Lane heard the accident around 6 a.m. Friday.
Police say a Jeep Grand Cherokee was going inbound on Harrodsburg Road when a pickup truck going in the opposite direction made a left-hand turn and the two vehicles collided.
One person was in the pickup.
Police say the six people who were hurt all suffered varying degrees of injuries but none is considered life-threatening.
Inbound Harrodsburg Road reopened just before 7 a.m.
