Kroger stores offering ticket promotion for World Equestrian Games

Organizers of the World Equestrian Games now have a deal for shoppers at Kroger stores.

Through September 24, Kroger shoppers will be able to buy Flex Grounds Pass tickets to the World Equestrian Games for $25, instead of the standard $30 price.

WEG officials say the Flex Grounds Pass can be used on any day the games are going on. Children 12 years old and under will receive free admission with a paying adult, except on September 26, October 2, and October 9.

Officials say the Flex Grounds Pass will give access to more than 250 Trade Show booths, exhibits and entertainment at the Kentucky Experience tourism pavilion and the Alltech Experience pavilion, the Equine Village, and many of the Kentucky Horse Park's exhibits and museums.

The Grounds Pass tickets will not grant access to competition venues.

166 Kroger stores in Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois, and Indiana will be selling the tickets.

The World Equestrian Games begin September 25, and continue through October 10.
