Lexington Police say they were forced to use a taser on a suspect wanted in an early Thursday morning stabbing.
Police say it all started as a fight between a man and a woman inside an apartment on Winburn Drive.
They say the man then stabbed the woman in the chest.
When officers showed up, they say the suspect refused to drop his knife and even acted as if he was going to stab the woman again.
That is when an officer deployed a taser on the suspect.
An additional ambulance was called because that suspect was initially unresponsive.
He went to Good Samaritan Hospital to be checked out.
The woman went to U.K. Hospital. Police say her stab wound is superficial.
A second person was arrested at the scene for terroristic threatening and disorderly conduct.
