Nearly a year after leaving the Lexington market, Graeter's Ice Cream is making plans to return to the city.
Graeter's officials said Friday they will open a new store on Euclid Avenue, in the Chevy Chase Plaza, in February.
"We are ecstatic to be back in the Lexington market," said Richard Graeter, President and CEO, in a news release. "Location is critical for us, and we are pleased to have found such a wonderful home for Graeter's. We look forward to serving our loyal customers in Lexington for many years to come."
The new store will offer the full line of Graeter's ice cream and select Graeter's candies, according to officials.
It will be operated by franchisee Jim Tedesco, who also operates Graeter's locations in Louisville and Southern Indiana.
