Investigators have identified the man killed Saturday night in a hit-and-run crash in Lexington.
The Fayette County coroner says the victim is 56-year-old Robert Sheilds, of Lexington.
Investigators say Sheilds was walking on Bryan Avenue, at Emerson Drive, around 7 p.m. Saturday, when he was hit.
Police have not found the driver. They're looking for a maroon pickup that had ladders in the bed of the truck.
The coroner's office says Sheilds died of blunt force trauma to the trunk and abdomen.
