Wet roads play role in crashes during morning commute

The wet weather caused some major headaches for drivers trying to make it to work Tuesday morning.

Crashes were reported all over Lexington, including three on Interstate 75 alone.

"It was raining really hard," driver Chris Johnson said. "Just bad conditions."

Johnson said he came up on one of the crashes on Interstate 75, and knew he needed to help.

"Jumped out, went over there, pulled the door open so they (people inside the car) could get out," Johnson said.

No one was seriously injured in any of the crashes in Lexington Tuesday morning.

Police remind drivers to always drive carefully on wet roads.
