Emergency crews say two people who were inside a truck that crashed into a Lexington creek Tuesday afternoon have been accounted for.
The crash happened just before 3 Tuesday afternoon along Delong Road, near Armstrong Mill Road.
Part of the truck was submerged in South Elkhorn Creek.
Emergency crews tell us a driver and his four-year-old granddaughter were inside the truck.
At first, emergency crews feared those people were inside the water. Boats were brought in to help with the search.
However, police were able to track down family members of those inside the truck, who told them the two were at Saint Joseph East Hospital.
Emergency crews say the driver had minor injuries, and his granddaughter was not hurt.
