Volunteers needed to set up Christmas Store

One organization needs your help bringing Christmas cheer to thousands of children in central Kentucky.

The Faith and Community Christmas Store will open in Lexington next week.

The store allows needy families to shop for free Christmas gifts for their children.

The store has a new location this year, a donated warehouse at Second and Midland.

Store organizers need a lot of help this weekend setting up the store.

"We have to turn this 10,000 square feet into the winter wonderland," We also need more pre-loved, gently used toys and gifts," Ginny Ramsey of the Catholic Action Center said.

If you're like to help set up the store, you'll have plenty of opportunities.

Just show up at the store Saturday from 10-6, Sunday from 1-6, Monday from 10-6, or Tuesday from 10-6.

You can also leave donations at the store.
