On what would have been his 65th birthday, dozens of people remembered a well-known Kentucky politician, through music.
Gatewood Galbraith died January 4, just a few months after running for governor.
On Monday night, several musicians took part in a concert in his honor at Cosmic Charlie's in Lexington.
There was a mix of Galbraith's close friends and acquaintances in the crowd.
Jerry Moody, a close friend of Galbraith's, was among those performing.
"We just have to keep on fighting the political battle that Gatewood showed us how to fight, and to never give up," Moody said.
Moody says he hopes to get a day dedicated to Galbraith in Kentucky, in the near future.
