LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - We're learning more about the case against a former UK basketball player, accused of having sex with an underage girl.
A Fayette County grand jury indicted Michael Porter on sexual abuse and sodomy charges.
Lexington Police say Porter had sex with the girl when she was 14 and 15 years old.
Investigators say Porter met her while serving as a group leader at a church.
The girl also told police she and Porter talked about sex through Internet and phone conversations, and Porter sent her pictures of himself.
In May, police say they set up a phone and text sting, which led to Porter's arrest.
Porter will be arraigned later this month.
He played for UK between 2006 and 2009.
