It's a Christmas tradition, 16 years running, the annual Shop With A Cop Program, in Lexington.
A store full of police officers might make some people worried. And even though these officers weren't responding to an emergency, they were here helping people in need.
The Fraternal Order of Police raises funds all year to help families who may not be able to afford many presents for their children.
The children got to see officers as more than authority figures. Now they know, that even when they aren't dialing 911, they can turn to them for help.
