Morning snowfall causes problems in Kentucky

Snow started falling overnight in central Kentucky, causing problems for the Tuesday morning commute.

In Lexington, a number of crashes were reported during the morning rush hour.

The majority were on I-75. Others were reported on New Circle Road.

As of Tuesday morning, Fayette County schools were on a normal schedule.

Other school systems, such as Scott, Clark and Madison Counties, were closed, however.

A number of school systems in eastern Kentucky called off Tuesday's classes on Monday. Snow there started falling Monday night.
