A Lexington man has made it home safely, after the earthquake stranded him in Haiti.
19-year-old Victor Kalinyuk spent six days working on a church, with a group of 49 people from the east coast.
They were in Port-Au-Prince, Tuesday, the day before their scheduled departure.
Kalinyuk and a friend were hanging out on a rooftop when the quake hit.
After the earthquake, the US Embassy told Kalinyuk's group it would be impossible to leave on the day they were supposed to.
But, Iceland Air offered to fly them to the Bahamas for free, where everyone caught a flight home.
