Obituary - Norman Francis “Pat” Hart

Norman Francis “Pat” Hart, age 80, of Bronston, KY passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at his residence.

Born on December 1, 1929 in Holden, MA, Pat worked and retired as a draftsman for the Monticello Machine Shop. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War and held the rank of Corporal. Mr. Hart was a Kentucky Colonel and of the Catholic faith.

He leaves behind a wife, Iva Lee Miller Hart, whom he married on October 2, 1992 in Sevierville, TN; three sons, Shawn Hart of Idaho, Craig Hart (and wife, Svetlana) of The Republic of Georgia; and Keith Hart of Monticello, KY; two stepdaughters, Rinda Williams of Frankfort, KY and Janet Stewart (and husband, Doug) of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Hunter and Tanner Hart of Idaho, Sonya Hart of The Republic of Georgia, and Timur Sputnik of Alexandria, VA; three step grandchildren, Serita Johnson, Christy Perry, and Lauren Moore; four step great grandchildren, Claire and Emerson Moore, Madisyn Johnson, and Austin Collier; and many friends and neighbors.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Frank Hart and Irene Maloney Hart and a brother.

Visitation for Mr. Hart will be 2:00-4:00 pm Sunday, January 24th at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset, KY.

Funeral Mass will be 2:00 pm on Monday, January 25th at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Dr. Gerald Weigel officiating. The American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard will conduct military honors for Mr. Hart.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to “Feed the Children” Foundation, P.O. Box 36, Oklahoma City, OK 73101.

Arrangements for Norman Francis “Pat” Hart are entrusted to Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
