With the summer heat already building, it won't be long now before the Bluegrass State Games kick off.
This year, there will be a new title sponsor of the event, that offers sporting events for amateur athletes of all ages.
Lexington based Fortune High Tech Marketing has agreed to a one-year deal with the option for a multi-year agreement with the games.
More than 16,000 entrants took part in last year's Bluegrass State Games, which have an economic impact of more than $6 million for central Kentucky.
The games are scheduled to begin July 9.
