Around 300 Kentucky Utilities customers lost power Friday morning because of an outage.
It affected the area around the New Circle Road and Russell Cave Road intersection in Lexington. KU officials say most of the outages were outside of New Circle, in the area down to Bryan Avenue.
KU officials say a fuse stopped working, causing the outage. KU was not able to reset the fuse by remote control, so crews were sent to the site to make repairs.
Several businesses were affected by the outage, and some traffic lights also stopped working.
KU had power restored to everyone just after noon.
