A happy ending to a Golden Alert that had been issued for a missing 70-year-old Lexington woman.
Mary Harbert was found safe early Wednesday afternoon at a barber shop on East Loudon.
Lexington Police say someone spotted Harbert after seeing a news report about her disappearance.
Mary Harbert had been missing since around 1 p.m. Tuesday.
She lives on Dunkirk Drive, in Lexington's Cardinal Valley neighborhood, with her brother, Edward Cecil.
Cecil says when he arrived home from work a little after 12 a.m. Wednesday, his sister was gone.
"When I got in, she wasn't here," Cecil said. "The door was locked, and she just... wasn't here."
Harbert is Schizophrenic, but her brother says she's physically in good health.
This isn't the first time Harbert has wandered away from home.
Last November, she went missing, but police found her several hours later on Leestown Road.
