Some terrifying moments at the Bluegrass Fair Monday night, when several tents collapse.
Six people were hurt when 3 tents gave in at the fair in Masterson Station Park. Three people had to be taken to the hospital. Despite reports of injuries, fair organizers say they're grateful for an organized shutdown of the fair and that more people were not hurt.
Workers say an exhibition tent and an entertainment tent were inactive when the rain began to pour and knocked them down. Also collapsed was a petting barn yard tent full of animals, but workers credit the students running it, for preventing any animals from being injured.
Organziers of the fair say they will reopen Tuesday at 5pm, and those who had to leave will be given free admission for another day.
