Lexington Police are looking for a man they say went into a home while the homeowner was sleeping, stealing her purse and credit cards. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward if you can identify the man caught on tape using the cards.

In late May police say a man went into the garage area of a home in the Masterson Station area where he stole the homeowners purse and credit cards that were stored in her car.

"The victim was asleep inside during the burglary when the purse was stolen," says Detective Josh Masterson with the Lexington Police Department.

Police say the man immediately used the cards at a Lexington Walmart where he is caught on surveillance.

"We were able to obtain video, however we weren't able to make any identifications. The victim stated she didn't know the subject," says Detective Josh Masterson.

Police are hoping you can tell them whose responsible.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest in this case. Call Crime Stoppers today at 859-253-2020. It's a free call and they don't want your name, just your information.
