"A Good Walk Spoiled" to raise money for local families in need

The Family Financial Foundation is proud to announce the Second Annual A Good Walk Spoiled
Golf Scramble & Party. Raising more than $15,000 in 2012, the event was a giant success during its
inaugural year, and will continue to be a community-wide event that raises funding to help local families.
About the Event
A Good Walk Spoiled will be held on Friday, August 16th at Andover Golf & Country Club in
Lexington. The daytime portion of the event will include a golf scramble with morning and afternoon
shotgun starts, raffles and lunch. The evening portion will include cocktail hour, live and silent
auctions, dinner and dancing. Tickets may be purchased for the entire day, or for the evening only.
To order tickets or register a golf team, call 859-219-1006.
Who We’ll Help
This year, proceeds from A Good Walk Spoiled will benefit three local charities: The Christian
Appalachian Project, an organization that seeks to aid families living in one of the poorest regions of
the country; Lex-Care, a local non-profit organization that provides hope and help to Lexington
families in need of temporary assistance; and The Lexington Dream Factory, an organization that
grants the dreams of children in Central and Eastern Kentucky who have been diagnosed with
chronic or critical illnesses.

Family Financial Foundation is extremely grateful for members of the community who have been
willing to contribute to this event. Sponsors include Benchmark Mortgage, Adam’s Buick of
