A crash involving a police safety officer created traffic troubles on busy Man o' War Boulevard.
Lexington Police say the officer had his lights and sirens on while traveling on Man o'War, near Buckhorn Drive. He was responding to another crash, when a car hit his cruiser.
The collision knocked a telephone pole down onto Man o'War, but it has since been removed.
Traffic is down to one lane in the outer loop, but is expected to reopen in a few minutes.
No one was hurt.
