An ambulance crew spotted a fire overnight and called 911. It happened on Alabama Avenue.

When firefighters arrived, heavy smoke was pouring from the home. The intense heat from the home also caused a power line to melt, and fall down outside the home. K.U. says the line was energized but they cut the power to it.

Firefighters were able to put out the fire quickly.

No one was living in the home. Investigators are looking into a cause.
