Faced with 981 angels in need, The Salvation Army is making a plea to the community on behalf of these children. The Angel Tree program is set to end Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
Angel cards may be found at the Fayette Mall display, near Dillard’s. That display will close Sunday but you can take your unwrapped gifts to the Christmas Center at 1030 South Broadway through Monday.
The Angel Tree is designed to ensure less fortunate children receive a gift for Christmas. The Salvation Army says it started with over 6,000 children.
If you are able to help you need to visit The Salvation Army’s Fayette Mall Angel Tree display, select a child’s angel card, purchase a gift or gifts from the card, and return the gifts, unwrapped, with the angel card.
