Wednesday marks the anniversary of the day and week a lot of people in Lexington would like to forget.
On February 15, 2003, Lexington became encased in a major ice storm.
Tens of thousands were without power -- some for several weeks.
The damage to trees can still be seen in some places around town.
Another ice storm in 2009 caused more widespread damage.
