Armed man apologizes during pharmacy robbery

Police are investigating a robbery at a Lexington pharmacy.
Someone called 911 just before two reporting the crime at the Corner Pharmacy located on Alexandria Drive.

The victims told police that a man came in wearing overalls and a jacket, with a red bandanna over his face, asking for morphine. He then asked for Oxycodone and other pain killers.
The clerk says the man was holding a knife.

Before the robber took off he apologized.

There were no customers in the building at the time, but two workers were inside.

The suspect is described as a white man in his mid- 50s, standing around 5'7 and weighing between 160-170 pounds.
Anyone with information about the crime is asked to contact Lexington Police.
