LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A state audit has raised some questions about a non-profit organization trying to set up a primary care clinic in Lexington.
On Thursday, State Auditor Adam Edelen said an audit found the project manager for the proposed HealthFirst Bluegrass Clinic was pre-selected.
The audit claims the manager has a conflict of interest that could jeopardize part of a federal grant needed to build the clinic.
The audit also claims HealthFirst Bluegrass has cash flow problems.
Lexington Mayor Jim Gray had requested the audit.
