LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Hundreds of friends of a teacher battling a serious illness gathered for a special event today... to help her and her family.
Veterans Park Elementary teacher Jana Callahan suffered a brain aneurism three months ago.. she's now recovering at Cardinal Hill Hospital.
This morning, her friends reached their goal of raising$10,000 for her family with a benefit walk at Coldstream Park where there was also a silent auction.
