LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A convicted rapist and fugitive will face two judges Thursday after refusing to face one on Wednesday.
John Buckley, IV was scheduled to be arraigned on bail jumping and contempt of court charges Wednesday, but jail workers say he refused to leave his cell.
The judge rescheduled that hearing for Thursday. He will also face another hearing Thursday on new charges of witness intimidation.
Buckley walked away from the Fayette County courthouse in July 2012 before being convicted of rape. He was arrested in Wyoming in May and flown to Lexington earlier this week.
