Coroner: Lexington woman found in February died of exposure

LEXINGTON, Ky (WKYT) - The Fayette County Coroner's Office released information Wednesday about a woman found dead outside an apartment building in February. Uta Lynn Nyberg's body was found outside Village Apartments on South Locust Hill Drive around 9:45am on February 17.

At the time, police told WKYT someone found the woman lying on the ground, between parked cars, underneath an awning.

A news release from the coroner's office says 53 year-old Nyberg died of exposure to the cold, due to being outside in below-freezing temperatures. The coroner ruled Nyberg's death an accident.
