LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - An SUV crashed into a light pole, knocking out power to parts of Lexington.
The crash happened around ten Monday morning on Newtown Pike.
An SUV, heading inbound, went off the road and struck a utility pole.
The crash knocked out power along Newtown Pike. Officers patrolling other streets, including North Broadway, also reported power outages.
Kentucky Utilities said that more than 1,000 customers lost power due to the crash. They are working to repair that pole and restore power by noon.
