Lexington Police will charge a driver with assault and DUI for a bad accident Monday evening.
Police say Thomas Wright of Midway was under the influence of marijuana and alcohol when his jeep crashed into a VW Beetle driven by Samantha Arnold of Georgetown.
The crash happened on Leestown Road.
Wright, Arnold and a passenger from Arnold's car went to U.K. Hospital.
Arnold is said to be suffering from life-threatening injuries.
